Nuclear Weapon Convoys

Every six weeks or so a cluster of vehicles involved in the transportation of Trident nuclear weapons passes through Stirling.

In recent times they have come up the M74, gone on to the M9, left the M9 at Junction 10, Stirling (at the Prudential complex), passed through the new business estate behind the Raploch and by the King’s Knot roundabout onto the road west to Buchlyvie and Balloch.

Stirling CND campaigns against the convoys mainly because they are part of a system of illegal and immoral weapons of mass destruction, but also because we believe that communities potentially affected by the convoys should be aware of their existence and the risks they pose.

If you wish to join in spotting these convoys or demonstrating against them at the roadside call David on 07876593016
